A special gift for a writer or artist. I have hand cut and stitched buttery soft warm brown cowhide leather, creating a cover for a journal or notebook. It is currently filled with a lined notebook but could also hold a blank book. When you’ve filled up the book you can remove it and add a new one! I’ve hand fabricated the button with a beautiful piece of jasper- set in a fine silver bezel. A lighter tan suede cord wraps around the journal and around the button to keep it it closed. The journal cover measures 9.25 inches long. It holds a book that measures 8.5 x 5 inches. These are lovely, one-of-a-kind pieces made by my two hands in my little blue church house studio.
