Kintsugi is the Japanese art of embracing and highlighting imperfections. Broken items (in this case a piece of Royston turquoise) are mended or healed with 24k gold in resin. The precious scar is part of the item’s history. I’ve set this Kintsugi Turquoise stone in a 14k gold filled bezel and it sits on a sterling silver base. It hangs on a 16” gold filled chain. One solid 14k gold drop accents the stone. Made by my two hands in my little blue church house studio.
Wear your scars proudly. They are part of what makes you who you are.
