I purchased several hand carved Indian Lilac wood hair sticks with this idea of adding something special to the tops. This stick has been adorned with a little sterling silver and turquoise cap. The 13mm green Sonoran gold turquoise cabochon has been set in a fine silver bezel on a sterling silver base. The silver has been oxidized and tumbled for shine and durability. The wooden hair stick measures 6 inches long and is tapered. It slides into your bun or french roll to hold your hair in place. See last two photos for example of what this looks like in your hair. This lovely little embellished hair stick was made entirely by my two hands in my little blue church house.
