A beautiful piece of natural and highly coveted Desert Bloom Variscite has been set in a fine silver bezel and sits on a sterling silver base with a rim of silver wire around the stone and a silver drop. The silver has been oxidized black and the then polished for depth. This gorgeous pendant hangs on a medium weight sterling silver cable chain and measures 21 inches. The piece has been signed with my maker's mark on the back of the pendant (see last photo). The stone measures approximately 23mm x 16mm A little lobster clasp and ring serve as the closure. The chain has been left bright silver.
One-of-a-kind and made entirely by hand in my little church house studio. This cabochon is a beautiful designer cut cab and is thick and tall. It was backed for strength during the lapidary process.
